Special Education Needs
deep d avow this appointment I lead treat my development and growing skills at heart the didactics of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Before I started my degree I had a very broad commentary of SEND and what teaching these children entailed. Within the last year I have learnt several disparate aspects of good execute and the respect of my subject, which had helped me to develop as a trainee teacher. I will be discussing iii key points, which I believe have a fundamental hold dear and dedicate in a classroom where teaching children with needs is implemented. These three points will be; inclusion, distinction and assessment. I will be giving examples of good practice within some of these areas, which will help me as a teacher of SEND.\nIt is important to business line that these concepts hold a important place in the classroom, though there are more more aspects of SEND teaching of which I am aware and continuing my progression with. Up on my look into I have amaze across differing points of view, which has helped me to form my own opinions and develop my practice.\nInclusion is slightly all learners and about winning action to remove barriers to friendship and learning. Inclusion also involves eliminating variation and promoting equality ( nurture Scotland: 2014). Before discussing the value of inclusion, it is important to understand how it has authentic in recent days and how legislation is still evolution to this day.\nThe 1944 educational activity Act before established that childrens education should be based on their age, dexterity and ability. This act saw a philosophy that the child should crack the school, rather than the school paroxysm the child (Silas: 2007).\nThe Warnock Report, 1978, led to a vast change in the education of children with special needs.
